Shutters, frequently referred to as Plantation Shutters, offer a unique elegant style for the home. Timeless in design, shutters provide the perfect balance of beauty, function and energy efficiency. Because shutters are integrated within the room itself, they further enhance the look and value of your home, too. No wonder shutters are frequently referred to as "the ultimate window treatment".

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I'm belatedly posting a review of our 11/25 selection, purchase and installation experience of a combination of Hunter Douglas and Alta blinds for our new house. We are in a new Del Webb community and Michelle Moats was recommended by our Welcome Committee. We scheduled a consultation with Michelle and another with the Costco contractor.

We had no idea how to select blinds for an entire house and Michelle was by far the expert in helping explain the products, various options and the timing involved in having them made and installed. When both estimates came in, we knew we needed to determine our budget before proceeding. Advantage Blinds were our preferred option and Michelle was very willing to come back and work with us to figure out options that worked within our budget, what discounts were available and took considerable time measuring the windows. Honestly, she is one of the best sales women we have ever had the pleasure of working with.

Bill arrived on a very icy winter day and installed all the blinds efficiently and professionally. All of the blinds fit and operated perfectly.

We highly recommend Advantage Blinds and especially Michelle's expertise in leading customers through a somewhat nerve wrecking process.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Another 5-star review from a repeat customer. Advantage always does a beautiful job and stands by their work and products. Michael was patient as I explored all the options sharing some pros and cons of the various options. In the end, we went with the clean look of Norman blinds and Hunter Douglas honeycomb cellular for added warmth. I also have two motorized, programmable ones for hard to reach places and they are a wonderful addition. The arrived quickly and installation was effortless. Thank you again for the great products and installation.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Using Advantage Blinds Shades & Shutters was a superior experience from start to finish. Michelle (who came out to our home to show samples and measure), was very kind, patient with questions, and knowledgeable about the products. Her experience and background in interior design is apparent as you speak with her. The 2 installers who came to install my shades were very professional and helpful with any questions I had. Before choosing Advantage Blinds, I had two other vendors come out for estimates. I chose Advantage Blinds and I'm glad I did. I highly recommend them.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently had our 3rd set of blinds installed by Advantage. Scheduling a consultation was easy and convenient. Michelle went over our needs and options. She explained various measurements and features that had not been explained by prior blind companies/installers. Bill installed our 1st 2 sets and Michael the most recent. All professional, knowledgable and a pleasure to work with. And I love all of my new blinds. :)

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’m so pleased I came upon this company to handle my window coverings. Mike is so professional and knowledgeable. The blinds are PERFECT! I have not one complaint. I have only praises. The photo is my dining room window and it’s smaller than my living room window. Look how well the blinds are holding up. They were installed in 2023, which was two years ago. Yes, I am quite late posting my review.

I’m in the market for more blinds for two bedrooms and a bathroom. I will be calling Mike Perantoni again to help me out!

Thank you Mike and Advantage Blinds.

Wood Shutters

From the look of a beautiful painted finish to a stunning stained finish, wood shutters can add a special touch to any room. An excellent choice for contemporary decor as well as in a more traditional setting, you can easily control the view, privacy and light, merely by adjusting the louvers. At Advantage, we feature Normandy shutters from Norman Window Fashions, and beautiful Heritance shutters from Hunter Douglas.

Composite Shutters

Often referred to as “faux wood shutters”, our shutters are made out of special composite materials that offer excellent resistance to high humidity and sun exposure. With our Norman Woodlore, Woodlore Plus, or Hunter Douglas New Style shutters you can have the fabulous look of a painted wood shutter at a very affordable cost! These beautiful shutters are extremely durable too! They are resistant to peeling, cracking and yellowing, plus they are virtually maintenance free. With a vast array of louver sizes and design features to choose from, you can easily achieve the look you want at a very affordable price.

KEY FEATURES

Styles, Finishes, & Textures

Never before have there been so many choices in plantation shutters. Choose from painted finishes in whites, neutrals, and grays, or select from a beautiful palette of stained finishes. Shutters are even available in custom colors to perfectly match any design theme.

Multiple Louver Sizes

Advantage offers shutters in several louver sizes; 1 7/8”, 2 ½”, 3”, 3 ½” and 4 ½”, which can fit any décor, from Traditional to Contemporary. While smaller louvers present a more Classic look, larger louvers allow for a more modern look as well as offering a greater view-through to the outside. Whichever louver size you prefer, Advantage can provide exactly the look you want.

Tilt Control Systems

Shutter louvers are commonly operated by a tilt bar control, allowing the louvers to rotate up or down. A tilt bar typically presents a more classic, traditional look.

Advantage also offers Invisible Tilt by Norman, and TruView Rear Tilt by Hunter Douglas. These tilt systems eliminates the traditional tilt bar and leaves a clear, unobstructed view to the outside.

Motorization

Advantage is proud to offer Norman’s PerfectTilt G4 motorization system. PerfectTilt allows you to tilt the louvers as desired with the touch of a button. With the hand-held remote, you can control multiple shutters at one time. You can even set up a schedule to automatically operate your shutters from your smartphone or tablet, using the PerfectTilt Hub.

Sustainability

Our wood shutters use only specially selected hardwoods harvested from professionally managed forests. This provides a higher degree of sustainability than other products.
