If you’re looking to control the light in a room, window shadings offer the perfect solution. Fabric vanes suspended between two sheer panels tilt with precision, giving you total light control and privacy. When the vanes are open, the view outside is preserved and your home’s natural light is gently filtered. When closed, the fabric vanes allow you privacy while maintaining the soft, elegant style window shadings create. When fully raised, they completely disappear into the headrail for an unobstructed view.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I'm belatedly posting a review of our 11/25 selection, purchase and installation experience of a combination of Hunter Douglas and Alta blinds for our new house. We are in a new Del Webb community and Michelle Moats was recommended by our Welcome Committee. We scheduled a consultation with Michelle and another with the Costco contractor.

We had no idea how to select blinds for an entire house and Michelle was by far the expert in helping explain the products, various options and the timing involved in having them made and installed. When both estimates came in, we knew we needed to determine our budget before proceeding. Advantage Blinds were our preferred option and Michelle was very willing to come back and work with us to figure out options that worked within our budget, what discounts were available and took considerable time measuring the windows. Honestly, she is one of the best sales women we have ever had the pleasure of working with.

Bill arrived on a very icy winter day and installed all the blinds efficiently and professionally. All of the blinds fit and operated perfectly.

We highly recommend Advantage Blinds and especially Michelle's expertise in leading customers through a somewhat nerve wrecking process.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Another 5-star review from a repeat customer. Advantage always does a beautiful job and stands by their work and products. Michael was patient as I explored all the options sharing some pros and cons of the various options. In the end, we went with the clean look of Norman blinds and Hunter Douglas honeycomb cellular for added warmth. I also have two motorized, programmable ones for hard to reach places and they are a wonderful addition. The arrived quickly and installation was effortless. Thank you again for the great products and installation.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Using Advantage Blinds Shades & Shutters was a superior experience from start to finish. Michelle (who came out to our home to show samples and measure), was very kind, patient with questions, and knowledgeable about the products. Her experience and background in interior design is apparent as you speak with her. The 2 installers who came to install my shades were very professional and helpful with any questions I had. Before choosing Advantage Blinds, I had two other vendors come out for estimates. I chose Advantage Blinds and I'm glad I did. I highly recommend them.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently had our 3rd set of blinds installed by Advantage. Scheduling a consultation was easy and convenient. Michelle went over our needs and options. She explained various measurements and features that had not been explained by prior blind companies/installers. Bill installed our 1st 2 sets and Michael the most recent. All professional, knowledgable and a pleasure to work with. And I love all of my new blinds. :)

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’m so pleased I came upon this company to handle my window coverings. Mike is so professional and knowledgeable. The blinds are PERFECT! I have not one complaint. I have only praises. The photo is my dining room window and it’s smaller than my living room window. Look how well the blinds are holding up. They were installed in 2023, which was two years ago. Yes, I am quite late posting my review.

I’m in the market for more blinds for two bedrooms and a bathroom. I will be calling Mike Perantoni again to help me out!

Thank you Mike and Advantage Blinds.

KEY FEATURES

Fabrics, Textures, Colors

Window shadings are offered in a wide variety of fabrics and textures, from the look of raw silk to classic linen. Each fabric has its own thoughtfully inspired color palette which further accentuates the look of each shading.

View Through

Vanes are available in 2”, 2 ½”, 3” and 4” sizes, each creating a totally different feel and view to the outside.

Privacy & Light Control

A white rear sheer obscures the view into your home, providing daytime privacy even when the vanes are open. To achieve an increased level of privacy and light control, simply tilt the vanes to your desired position.

Room Darkening

Some shadings, like Silhouette Duolite^® Shading, combines the light-diffusing benefits of a window shading with an independently operated roller shade nestled behind it for greater control over incoming light. This provides for the very best in light control, view and privacy.

UV Protection

Window shadings also offer excellent protection against harmful UV rays, too. The beautiful sheer fabrics softly filter out brightness, glare and UV rays to protect your furniture and flooring from fading. Depending on your fabric choices, these shadings can filter up to 88% of the sun’s harmful rays.

OPTIONS and BENEFITS

Motorized

With motorization, you can operate your shades with a press of a button. Some systems can even operate your shades using a tablet or smartphone, and may also be programmed according to the schedules you set, even when you are away.

Cordless

With cordless operation, you can move the shade to exactly where you want simply by moving the shade rail with your hand. Cordless shades are also an excellent option for homes with small children and pets.

Retractable

This option features a single retractable cord or wand which stays at a constant length regardless of the blind position. Without the long, dangling cords, a retractable control system offers enhanced child and pet safety.

Continuous Cord Loop

Perfect for shades without the dangling cords, this system uses a cord loop and works on the principle of a pulley raising and lowering the shade. A continuous cord loop system provides smooth, reliable and easy operation on even the largest shades. The loop is secured via a tensioner which provides enhanced child and pet safety, too.

Duolite and A Deux

The ideal option for controlling light and privacy. These shading options combine two separate fabrics, one light filtering, the other room darkening, into a single shade. Available in both manual and motorized operation.

Specialty Shapes

Honeycomb shades are available for an array of uniquely-shaped windows, such as arches, angles, trapezoids, hexagons, circles and more.

Vertical Privacy Sheers

The perfect complement to sheer window shadings, privacy sheers combine a sheer fabric with vertical vanes attached to the back of the sheer. These vanes can rotate up to 180°, giving you precise light control and privacy. Privacy sheers are the perfect choice for wide expanses of glass, sliding doors and other vertical applications, plus they coordinate perfectly with sheer window shadings.
